As every year since 1980, the French Tennis Federation has invited an artist to create the poster for the Roland-Garros tournament. This privilege is awarded this year to the French artist Maxime Verdier, who signs this 44th poster for Roland Garros.

Full of poetry and entitled “Land of Stars”, this poster is unique in that it is the first to have been entirely created in colored pencil, further enhancing its soft and dreamy atmosphere.

Through this work, the artist wished to represent the radiance of the tournament by highlighting the new Philippe-Chatrier court bathed in a halo of light in a starry night of tennis balls. He also wanted to leave plenty of room for imagination to allow all tennis fans to make this poster their own.
